I couldn’t be happier to hear some of my favorite bands from Warped Tour are coming back to Arizona. On January 20th, 2018, Neck Deep and Creeper will be coming to Marquee Theatre with Seaway, Speak Low If You Speak Love, and Gardenside. It is a delight to find Neck Deep and Creeper and touring the US and bringing more bands.
While Neck Deep only had a few songs that had crossed my radar earlier this year, they have a way of steadily growing on you. I often find myself listening to one or two songs again and again then seeking more in time. Next thing you know, you’re listening to an album or two back to back. Their latest album and namesake of the tour, The Peace and the Panic, released in August of this year. I find the track, “Where Do We Go When We Go,” off the album is one that’s easy to connect with. I look forward to hearing all their new songs and a few old favorites during their set.
Creeper has been another band that I knew nothing about until I saw them live. Since then, my opinion of being impressed with Creeper has evolved into an absolute love of the band. Creeper’s debut album, Eternity, In Your Arms, has been a frequent go-to for me when looking for music to keep me motivated. The entire album, from beginning to end, is incredible with all its highs and lows. Each song carries its own story and the album serves as an epic of its own. Listening to Eternity, In Your Arms, it shows an amazing amount of passion that pours through, giving fuel to creative endeavors for any who may listen to it.
Even though I have never heard of or encountered Seaway, Speak Low If You Speak Love, or Gardenside before, I’m interested in seeing what they have to offer. Considering how I took to Neck Deep and Creeper, I have little doubt all three bands are incredible. If one night isn’t enough to see Neck Deep with Seaway, Speak Low If You Speak Love, Creeper, and Gardenside, you can also catch them play at The Rock on January 19th, 2019 and celebrate the release of Speak Low If You Speak Love’s new album, Nearsighted.
